Cases, Matters, and Files are called "Projects" in Filevine
Client Contact Card
Each project in Filevine is associated with a specific contact. Click on the client' s name or initials in the upper left-hand corner of the project to access this information. Click the edit button to add, remove or edit any existing information.
The vitals section was designed to be a brief snapshot of the case and is highly customizable. Nearly any field in your project can be summarized in this section. Popular vitals include Statute of Limitations Date, Meds and Expenses Totals, and Insurance Policy Limits.
Phases allow you break down the life-cycle of a case from intake to settlement and beyond. These customizable phases allow you to track the current status of a case and have specific tasks associated with each phase. Tabs store organized information specific to your project type. The majority of these tabs can be customized to track the right information in the right place. Using our Advanced Tools, you can add, remove, or edit existing field in custom tabs to have layout specific to your organization.
