Each project has a Team tab. For a legal case, this is where you’d find the attorneys, paralegals, and staff members who are working on the case. Within this tab, you can see the level of access each team member has for the project.
Followers are those who are most closely involved in the project. Out of those followers, there is always one follower who is also designated, *Primary.
Who should be assigned the *Primary?
The *Primary should be the one responsible for the majority of the tasks and deadlines associated with the project.
What happens when I am the *Primary?
The *Primary receives every update regarding the activity tab of the project (because the *Primary will always be a Follower). They will also be the default assignee of AutoTasks. This includes any time an Autotask has been set up for a specific role but no one has been given that role yet.

How do I assign someone to be the *primary?
The *Primary status will automatically be assigned to the user who created the project. However, Project Admins can change this assignment by 1) going to the team tab of that project, 2) clicking on the contact card of the soon-to-be primary, and then selecting the options "Move to Followers" (if not previously done) and “Make *Primary”
